Live, online, working

I know! I seem to have finally sorted my audio - until the next time anyway. A box in Windows 11 called 'audio enhancements for my device' was set to on by default. I set it off and voila - clear sound. 

I also used Prism rather than OBS and a different network connector as my old one seems flaky. Wasted a bit of time on that, setting it up again, doing factory reset cos it seemed wonky then trying an alternate adapter which goes into USB-C rather than B as before. Downloaded the audio and it seems good. 

I'm reluctant to declare it sorted as maybe a Win11 update will fuck it again but at least I should know what to look for next time. 

Got an appointment next week in Chorley for my urology exam. Pat somewhat miffed that her urgent appointment was almost a year later. I guess male bits are less complex. 

Prism seems so much better than OBS for me

Glad I swapped my Novation Monostation for the ProSynth. Nice-sounding, small and has keyboard, arpeggiator, sequencer and effects. Solid!

Took a load more frogspawn today - the second wave. And Cara came up with the goods for the cover, very happy with it after Steve finally admitted he wasn't going to be inspired. 

Almost time to get a couple of preview copies, one for each of us.

Good week this week - treated myself to a Line 6 HX One and the KO-II finally came in stock at Juno, or so they say. I know it's very indulgent but that's mainly why I did it.

This arrived on thursday

So my weekend should be complete. It's pretty easy so far - just need to fill it with samples now and probably clean off most of the factory ones. Update was easy via web interface. This thing has more sample memory than the sampling electribe. 

Another arse probe today, jeez I'm getting fed up of that. MRI scan next to see if my 'thing' is benign or nasty. Oh joy. 

Oh and mum not too well at the moment. Can't help remembering last easter...
