February and a new album in progress

Well, I have put the best of January into an album ready for additions by "Far From Stars" friends. Without Matt it won't be FFS I suppose but maybe we'll think of a name. Maybe it's more of a Lore reunion and this time I want some of John on it, as well as Andy and Rick. Sent out the six parts to John and Andy and one to Rick, with some ideas of what he might do, just possibly too many. There are a few other places he'd fit nicely but I don't want to flood him, professional chap that he is. I have a title too and an idea which label to approach, as a way of getting John's name known.

Sent audio out and now I wait. Walked Wednesday but it was another M6 closed day so we went to Rivington. My camera decided not to work. Some words with Colin about the Cirklon and P3 history sections of the new website, my contributions airbrushed out as if they never happened. Will see if it gets (further) updates but I guess it shows how I'm regarded and how I'll be forgotten in due course. Still no idea if I'll have a place to stay for Superbooth, which means I haven't booked a flight yet.

Other people reporting issues with Wave envelopes so at least something should get done there.

Friday morning and I'm in some pain - did my back in last night tying my shoelaces, yeah, I know. Feels like something clicking in the small of my back and a night's sleep hasn't made any difference. Gonna be a pain relief Friday but hopefully can still get some music done. Not taking Broc this morning though, gonna see if it gradually fixes itself - may have a go walking around the block to see if it loosens up. Somewhat frustrating.

Friday's material sounds pretty good, added it to Dieganon on the Wily bandcamp site as if I just put out four short jams and someone pays for them, I'll feel bad. Back still sore but was able to walk Broc down to river this morning so it's a little better. Watching "Landscape Artist" last night and they were at the Avon Gorge hotel, where Rich and I stayed after doing Bristol. Many fond memories of that night, well early hours of the next morning, getting stoned and watching Austin Powers.

Saturday and Tim and I were on good form (Gudgeon) and thanks to sweetie power, I slept like a baby even though we watched three gruelling episodes of Gangs of London. Sunday saw mum, who hadn't slept well and was rather breathless. Got home and didn't do much but at least heard from Colin that there will be a place for me. Will book flights in the next day or so.
